Guarded and self-conscious. Albeit typically speaking with ease, a cautious air regardless surrounds her person. Does not easily trust others, although considering matters with a varying degree of importance. Complications are viewed in a straightforward regard; she does not consider relevant situations with too much humour. This sturdiness lends considerable responsibility to decisions, social maturity meaning that interests are prioritised.

History

An expatriate, who has for some years been living in Sēquana and prior to that other locations intermittently. She left with the aim of travelling, which has involved relative accomplishment.

She has evidently worked about the city for 5 to 6 years, and appears to have found inspiration amid the activity of the populace.

What might be later decided is not that certain; and may actually depend on further opportunity.

Trivia

Any body of water inhabited becomes an extension of her senses.

Always surrounded by water, whether deliberate or unconscious as a factor.

Powerful in aquatic locations. Capability and decision do not equate.

Likes to sing while working, and sometimes during the later hours; this usually encompasses a quiet tonal range.

Looks after several boats for the owner of the dock she works at.

She is often sought after, as even in storms the waters remain calm when she is present.

Many depend on the wherries to cross to different locations across the river and city canals, and their safety; along with her pay; is not overlooked.

Can create whirlpools and cause sinking in contrast, albeit not something effected typically.

Although unable to drown, others might. This has resulted in her temporarily abandoning her post on occasion to retrieve someone from the depths.

When affray infrequently occurs nearby, she makes sure to make herself scarce; if possible at least.

Unrest often happens more during festivals and alike events, during which business peaks. She anticipates and dreads those days.

Events mean she is paid more, despite the risk to herself and others.

Plays the charango. Can be considered an adept charanguista.

Likes to collect water, sand, and other material in glass jars. These are viewed as reminders of where she has been.

Messages are occasionally let adrift in the nearby rivers. These consist of drawings and fragments of thought and are usually given dates.

She occasionally retrieves bottles that seem unfamiliar from the river beds. Often the messages inside are her own writing, but other times not. Messages that are not familiar she keeps.

When manipulating water, the surface often refracts images, scenery, and other elements that do not correspond to nearby ambience.

Depicted scenery may rarely remain for a few hours after she abandons a location.

Has perceptive hearing, smell, and vision. Can see more adeptly in dimmer locations than others might, but this is not absolute.

Her skin pigmentation follows that of a typical red fox: pinkish-grey. Her fur is short, depending on appearance.

When not 'human', appears to be a long, serpentine fox with a tail that ends in claws.

Water often accompanies her in this state, and does not appear to dampen any part of her fur. It further appears to ebb and flow as of miniature streams, which cycle in consistent patterns.
