History

For most of her early life, she resided around forested and connected fielded terrain. This lasted until making the decision to start travelling through eventual differences in perspective and otherwise encountering limitations in attempts to progress academically.

She was awkward when first venturing beyond the trees. The few people initially encountered were difficult to converse with. Despite this, she managed to obtain directions to a nearby town and eventually reached its borders.

Although at first she was stopped and needed to give information about herself, she managed to enter through the gates and from there drifted about until finding an inn and other establishments that fell within her interest.

From there, she moved onto other towns and gradually built up her cognition in that manner. Relative studies interspersed with field work.

Surveying natural elements was itself an important component to her efforts, the phenomenon that existed outside the walls of confined populaces integral to progress.

This was not all she was aiming for however, the effort to find other branches of her lineage also a factor in order to bolster awareness.

Currently, she has managed to keep with the same direction for a few years and has not run into much difficulty despite barely avoiding worse outcomes.

The people otherwise encountered in and outside of towns and cities have typically not been hostile, but she keeps up her guard all the same.

Trivia

A sorcerer in practice with a more druidic direction. Compounding magic and natural resources is a focus in relevant arcane work, although other directions exist beyond that relative basis.

Often makes efforts to travel on foot and through sale routes and related paths and occasionally obtains items from other travellers in exchange for currency or different materials.

Currently aims to learn from more experienced practitioners who can be difficult to locate.

Studies mycology and related fields diligently on a singular basis, which ties into activity and foraging. There are however risks taken in attempting relevancies.

Despite the danger present she values related fields and work as important. Perceived benefits that can result from related knowledge are not disregarded.

Has familial involvement in mycological practices. Technically followed the same path through ambient interest and breakthroughs in those fields.

Others of the same practice are scattered across the terrain for a variety of reasons. A main rationality includes the complications that working with decay-oriented or otherwise poisonous materials presents.

Looks after and occasionally journeys with various animals who both act as support and company. With present risks and limitations, one or two individuals typically only accompany her.

Can be considered free-spirited, not wanting to be bogged down by inherent limitations. This correlates to her overall direction and more minutely other aspects of her person.

Favours shelf (polypore) mushrooms, but also gill (agaricales) and bolete sorts for multipurpose use.

May infrequently return to her home forest despite a focus on travel. Whether the reasoning involves her own interests or others, she is not irresponsible.

Not an oddity in her family except for the free-roaming aim.

Tends to sleep during the day but can adapt to different hours depending on necessity. Could be accurately called withdrawn or secluded, not often initiating encounters unless prompted.

She has an understanding of spell-craft which mostly falls to self-support in purpose. Although capable of defense, does not often utilise relevant capacity.

Her hair is not quite as it appears.

Rather than being comprised of normal keratin, hypha-based cells are prevalent. On occasion mushrooms may sprout from her hair, although that can be a general basis for mycological material to be supported.

This accounts for her hat, which may be unnatural at its basis. Yet the spores produced are viewed as important for her studies.

Occasionally her 'hat' is broken or becomes lost, which leads to occasionally attempts to replace it.

Inherent structure appears otherwise dubious.

Spores left behind may be similar to most saprophytes in that they can endure environmental factors for at least a few years before germinating.

What this might indicate is uncertain.
