Alike to how boars were traditionally trained to hunt for truffles, she managed to teach them how to search for and signal important locations or resources.

They know not to eat anything unless she gives them that item; as poisonous substances could turn up.

Generally alert and inquisitive; besides grounded, stubborn, and serious about matters. They are partly distracted at times and tend to pick up random stones that catches their attention, if harmless and unique.

May stash acquired items in random places -- if not pass things over to Cortina for safekeeping.

These tend to be saved by her, at least until inventory becomes too much.

As an adult racoon, more powerful physiologically than most dogs. Can swim a mile across a river or lake easily.

Identifies others by smelling ambience. Can discern individuals through the scent left by footprints.

Often stays to Cortina’s side or figurative heels by instinct. This is in some chance partly due to training and routine or related influence.

It can also be indirectly rational to follow a familiar sight or scent and by similar extent to keep tabs on occurrences nearby and ahead.

Usually walks through plantigrade motion. However can gallop by putting their back paws ahead while running, and outrun wolves and foxes to that degree.

Has a complex memory and can remember things up to three years. Further considerably intelligent, possibly beyond that of typical racoon.

Likes to climb surrounding objects and view surroundings from a vantage point when left alone.

Appears more inclined to saltwater or freshwater fish and crustaceans than foraged plant matter.
