Trivia

Appear to be alike to typical reindeer.

Most stand about 71 cm to 135 cm.

The horn shape can vary considerably and is dependant on the wood type.

Individuals often wear down their horns in conflict and in designating territory.

It is uncertain whether wood regenerates or if individuals regain antlers through other means.

Individuals are entirely made of ice, excluding the horns and hooves, which are typically rock or wood in basis.

Due to the solidified water content, many are very heavy and can pose a threat through force and momentum.

None appear to occur generationally, or if this does occur, it is very rare.

It is infrequently seen, though there are reports of individuals unearthing themselves from the snow and ice on the mountain and valley surface.

Why this occurs is uncertain, albeit theories exist.

Individuals are indistinguishable from the surrounding landscape typically, which can be dangerous for travellers.

Provoking one or multiple individuals has resulted in reports of injury or casualty.

Despite the glacial composition of individuals, they have been noted to behave as of other reindeer.

Loud bellowing vocalisations often signal presence of an individual, albeit it can be near impossible to distinguish basis.

During the harsher winter months about the mountains, travellers are warned to either wait for spring or consider an alternative path.
