Eneida

Thief | Teumessian Fox | Theriomorph

A straightforward individual in demeanor, and someone who is often inconspicuous in choosing not to attract attention. An amiable mien is further relevant, and she usually keeps her word, but often otherwise follows her own interests. Ambient awareness is a maintained constancy in that situations are seen with a perspicacious degree of cognisance. In most incidents it is difficult to trick her by extent of insight. She inherently seems to keep most persons at a relative distance socially, although she typically does not speak very evasively unless outside intentions visibly seep into a conversation.

History

Some history is better ignored.

Finds enjoyment in her days, whether as a nondescript traveler and townsperson, or a wayward thief.

Being impossible to catch for various reasons, occurrences are known but various enough that she is not anticipated singularly, many other thieves lurking about the roads and towns existent throughout the landscape.

That does not mean the payment for her capture is anything typical, a number of important items having been absconded from multiple individuals, and later passed onto other persons for safekeeping or scrap.

The future is something constant but uncertain.

Trivia

Frequently and variously a thief, aside from having a like for entertainment – inns and related establishments often frequented places.

Does not often steal unless supplied payment for a target. Pilfering is typically viewed as 'uninspiring' and/or ‘lacking profit’ without a challenge, resulting in infrequent attempts. She does not value material wealth with greed but still has a sense of necessity, needing to pay for her food and drink with coins.

May be called a drifter and a townsperson variously, whenever away from her residence, which is often.

Can be described as ‘different in scale’, when more ‘canid’, although a decision far removed from current timeframes.

Sometimes appears to be a normal fox – and sometimes a ‘human’ – but otherwise ‘vast’.

Disadvantages and advantages exist to any state; likes to be more agile and maneuverable.

‘Catching something’ can be separate from ‘killing it’. Does not overlook that.

Varies her days between ‘fox’ and ‘human’, infrequently alternating from that pattern. Sometimes frequents lakes when the former, wandering often.

May or may not have capacity for understood speech when vulpine, but hears a lot on occasion regardless. Tries to remain nondescript in that regard for various reasons.

There are likely internal pockets to various article(s), which are sewn, and which contain fishing hooks/lines/needles/a blade/coins/other useful items.

Occasionally tries to fish in nearby lakes – during the morning hours.

Anyone passing through may prompt idle chatter. While carrying off something is advantageous, only occasionally succeeds in that regard.

Seems considerably patient; if not easygoing, even with serious tones having relevance. Quick-witted most likely, and not easily fazed or upset. Would respond in turn verbally if insulted, most likely with relative ease. Can be described as someone not entirely viable to depend on, selfishness relevant, but interests sometimes overlapping.

May leave someone mid conversation on impulse if interests are elsewhere; which is more likely if disapproving or neutral to that person. Does not disregard or forget people overall, even when taking self-interest into account.

'Eneida' may be an assumed name, but nothing else seems to be answered to.

Myth

Many bad things happened. There is no one that can be blamed.

After mythologically being turned to stone and tossed up into the sky, she drifted for years in that state.

This was not disadvantageous. Either the alteration reset her mentality, or being alone for centuries was enough to regather her thoughts.

Could have been considered a ‘comet’ for a long while, but crashed down again eventually.

The fact of being ‘caught in the sky’ did not last indefinitely. Somewhere along the line only the image was left in relevant localities.

Following this, evidently traveled. Trade was relevant between localities, and at some duration she resulted in Aliud.

Does not often attempt to return to Earth; finding that overall pointless despite capability.

Can be bribed with amenities for information, depending on the topic.

There is a limit to this however. Certain topics are usually withheld.

Being anything but ‘smaller’ is seen by herself as hazardous. Scale equates to nutritional complication.
