Their presence is longstanding.

Might have been present before Sileny took charge of the cottage.

Regardless of ownership change, there has not been much evident complication.

Often present in the walls.

Making drumming sounds each time he/she makes contact with surfaces.

Sileny does not seem to mind the occasional outburst.

The sounds themselves appear to have some meaning, as she abruptly vanishes on occasion after something starts.

She does not know their gender and does not ask.

Lives in her cottage rent-free, and gained the clothes currently worn from her by extent.

'Mischief' appears to help her with cooking on occasion.
