'Noctis'

History

Grew up rather normally within a similar populace, only occasionally seeing matters that existed beyong what was familiar. Being a night-oriented individual at his basis, that did not quite stop Noctis from attempting to address matters during the earlier hours. This was something which proved beneficial while later traveling in order to consider different regions' weather for independent studies. Eventually he took on a more solid occupation in terms of lecturing, a direction that he found he was genuinely adept at.

After noting someone who was relatively new at work, they talked intermittently between classes and eventually found it opportune to share a space in order to cut costs, being on their own to a degree in both cases. This being a norm historically, and in current timeframes, there was not any issue with looking after a small flat space simultaneously. They mostly keep separate in the residence itself, sometimes talking over delegating responsbilities in regards to rent and management.

His responsibilities continue to be a focus, both work and study encompassing a great deal of time and writing. A relative degree of unawareness exists concerning Xylo, no discussion having occurred between them about relationships.

Trivia

Does not like considerable attention.

Cannot be considered shy or bashful, but prefers normal discourse rather than being a central focus.

Does not speak very well; his mouth being minute in structure.

He can eat and drink, separate from ‘typical moths’.

Beyond that, his vocal depth is limited. This may bolster attempted distance.

Has a very quiet voice, usually.

May give off faint luminescence, more around his wings and antennae.

This dims when stressed, the measure of illuminance varying depending on internal tone.

That can be an indicator of mood on occasion.

Has a stolid personality, unconsciously enduring surrounding pressures.

This strain, when relevant to a situation, exists behind decisions and often isn't noticed.

As a result, it can be difficult to discern when he's calm or actually stressed.

May (similarly in unconsciousness, or not) distance himself after a relevant duration.

Regardless of awareness, it can take some time for tension to dissipate.

Slightly more in scale than Xylo, but still small.

Studies botany and alike fields; although has branched into astronomy and meteorology to some extent otherwise.

Stays up late at night sometimes, mapping the motion of the sky.

An orator to some degree by trade; concerning astronomy and earth sciences.

Besides this academic/teaching occupation, he can also be considered a scholar or scientist.

Travels occasionally to study the ecology of different regions, agriculturally and botanically.

Occasionally (in conjunction with Xylo) prints articles with suggestions concerning crops and crop rotations, aside from astronomy and other subjects.

Like the luminary element, can amplify his voice to a zenith; potentially to the degree that eardrums burst.

This can result in vertigo or imbalance in those subject to given sound waves, if not permanent hearing loss.

The range of sound-wavelengths possible is not limited to extremes, and other effects can result from his vocal scale.
