History

A smaller species of gryphon.

Individuals appear to have migrated to Ereba within the recent past, and populations have since been established.

Most individuals are around 20 cm in length.

Longevity is uncertain.

Habitat frequently encompasses trees with open spaces.

Individuals are often found near lakes and streams, and build hanging nests.

Nesting may occur in groups, although individuals are known to be solitary.

Small insects and spiders comprise diet, aside from seeds, fruit, and nectar.

Individuals may assume defensive behaviour if intruded upon by perceived threats.

A nocturnal migrant.

Flight typically occurs lower to the ground.

Vocalisations are light and trilling to harsh and chattering.
