Trivia

Usually quiet. Despite being smaller, assumedly was not henpecked by other chickens for present reasons.

Likes to pose and garner attention.

Quiet, rarely crowing at a high pitch to announce territory or for reasons unknown.

The individual noted appears to prefer grains and vegetation, but may also eat insects and other small organisms quickly.

There are apparent occasions where the individual appears to reject insects that are not moving any longer per noted effect, but this is rare.

Ingests small stones often as per normal avian behaviour.

Appears to explore the surroundings often, maintaining a degree of awareness during attempts to forage.

Not aggressive inherently. Solitary due to hazardous properties and appears aware of occurrences related to encounters.

Capable of recognising individuals evidently.

Evidently possesses poor hearing and proficient eyesight.

If looking at another individual and making eye contact, making physical contact, or breathing on relevant factors, the individual in question will cease all bodily functions and expire.

Not every individual that has encountered a cockatrice has reputedly expired, the reasons for this various.

Cockerels and pullets of this hybrid species appear to be less potent in lethal effect than adult variations. There may be various natural purposes for this, need for defence and an indistinct appearance to avoid outside detection potentially included.
