Website Overview

This is a collection of characters present within specific narratives. Not all individuals may be referenced within the narratives presented, but are present in the world(s) depicted.

Individuals are categorised per setting. Not all are stationary.

The locations on this page can be selected and include subcategories of information.

As not everything has been added yet, some pages may be vacant.

Character Information

The characters presented are involved in the mundane as well as the fantastical, from the perspective of the reader.

The mundane and the fantastical can be perceived as interposed within the perspectives of the characters. As most have lived divided, what is objectively ordinary does not inherently correlate.

There have been social differences throughout the continuities that each world encompasses. As advancements progress on both sides of the line, the complications that accrue have made it more difficult for crossings to occur.

There are exceptions for everything and that has importance itself.

Narrative Elements

Both 'Earth' and 'Orbis Alius' are inherently linked, paralleling each other in terms of terrain.

The name 'Orbis Alius' is an agreed upon term within the context of its own setting, although names have differed historically.

To a large extent, more recent generations within 'Orbis Alius' are unaware of another world sitting just over a thin divide.

The loss of knowledge connecting both locations is offset by record keepers and preservation of texts by older lineages.
